The King salmon run has begun!
These powerful fish have fast moves and they can put even the most experienced angler to the test. We had three lines in the water on Saturday and we landed two beautiful kings and lost two more, one of which was a real lunker.
On Sunday the tide brought a few less fish with it. We had four lines in the water and we landed two out of the three fish we hooked up to. The run is just beginning to pick up steam and the fishing should continue to improve over the next few weeks.
